Once again, BPCON23 surpassed all my expectations, thanks to the incredible efforts of the BiggerPockets and BPCON Conference team. The event was flawlessly organized and held at the magnificent JW Marriott Grande Lakes Resort and Hotel in Orlando, making our time there truly exceptional. Orlando itself, with its attractions like Disney World and Universal Studios, added an extra layer of magic to the conference.
The event was brimming with impactful presentations from inspiring individuals, leaving me motivated, focused, and ready to take on the world with renewed determination. The atmosphere was charged with positivity and support, making it an environment like no other. If you’re serious about your future and crave success while being surrounded by a network of giving and accomplished individuals, BPCON is the place to be.
One of the standout moments was the keynote speeches by two remarkable individuals, David Osborn from Tech Millionaire and Gobundane, and Dave Meyer, VP of Strategy & Analytics at BiggerPockets. David Osborn emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, being accountable, and living intentionally. He spoke about the conscious and subconscious factors that drive our decisions, highlighting the significance of knowing who we are and where we want to be. Our habits and decisions, no matter how small, shape our lives, making it crucial to define our vision and goals with clarity and hold ourselves accountable.
On the final day, Dave Meyer delivered a powerful presentation on investing in an uncertain market. He outlined a systematic approach to embracing the unknown by identifying key market drivers, critical uncertainties, and developing scenarios based on personal risk tolerance. His insights provided a practical way to navigate uncertain outcomes, especially in the context of the real estate market.
As Tony Robbins wisely said, “The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the amount of uncertainty you can comfortably deal with.” Embracing the unknown through planning, self-assessment, and being part of a supportive community is key to thriving in ever-changing markets.
I’m already looking forward to next year’s BPCON24 in beautiful Cancun, Mexico! See you all there!
Warm regards,
Matthew Weber
